Chartered Status
The Society of Radiological Protection was granted a Royal Charter on 10th October 2007 which came into force on 10th December 2007.  The Society is delighted that it has succeeded in achieving this great milestone in its history.  This has been the culmination of many years of work and the Society is very grateful to all those people who contributed towards this great achievement.  It will ensure that radiological protection is formally recognised as a profession and those with the necessary competence and expertise will be recognised by being able to use the title Chartered Radiation Protection Professional with post-nominal letters CRadP.
