Congratulations to George Sallit - Promoted to Deputy Chief Inspector at the ONR

Following recent interviews George Sallit, former President of SRP and a current member of Council, was successful in being promoted to Deputy Chief Inspector at the Office for Nuclear Regulation. In his new role George will have responsibility for Radiological Protection at ONR and said that he was looking forward to ensuring that the current links between the regulator and SRP are maintained and where helpful strengthened. George said " I am delighted to to be asked to take up this new role and will ensure that the excellent regulatory record of ONR is maintained and where possible improved, which will include our links to professional societies such as SRP".   Read more from ONR here.
