This one day event will provide delegates with a review of current Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) issues and practices in the nuclear and medical sectors. Challenges faced by employers and RPAs in selecting suitable and sufficient PPE will be discussed. 

Recent work by the Health & Safety Laboratory and industry to provide guidance in the use of air fed suits during decommissioning will be reported.  There will also be an opportunity to see HSL's PPE testing laboratories.
