• The First John Dunster Memorial Lecture was given by Jack Valentin - a brilliant speech and extremely well received.  Highlights will be placed on the website during June
• The Position Statement on Radioactive Waste Advisers from the UK's environment agencies was announced
• Four Honorary Fellowships awarded: Wendy Bines OBE, Eddie Goldfinch, Bernard James and Tony R Richards
• The AGM was in complete support of the introduction of the new TechRP grade of membership (comments are invited on specific items detailed in the paper (see below)
• New President Chris Englefield took over from outgoing President Richard Wilkins
